AWARDS & RECOGNITION

OUR GALLERY

Welcome to I Am A Phenomenal Woman

Celebrating Her Excellence. Honoring Her Journey. Empowering Her Future.
I Am A Phenomenal Woman is more than a statement—it is a movement created to celebrate, recognize, encourage, and empower women whose courage, leadership, service, perseverance, and accomplishments make a difference in their professions, families, and communities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to recognize phenomenal women while creating meaningful opportunities that help women overcome barriers and build stronger, healthier, financially secure, and independent lives.

Through our Phenomenal Women of Excellence recognition program, we honor women who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievement in their career fields and through service to others. We believe excellence deserves to be acknowledged—not only when a woman reaches the highest levels of her profession, but also when she quietly changes lives through education, healthcare, military service, public safety, business, government, ministry, nonprofit leadership, athletics, the arts, community service, and countless other fields.

We want women and girls to see these honorees and understand:
Your accomplishments matter. Your leadership matters. Your story matters. And you, too, can become a Phenomenal Woman of Excellence.

From Recognition to Action

Our vision extends far beyond awards and recognition. I Am A Phenomenal Woman seeks to turn celebration into service by developing initiatives that address real challenges facing women and their families.

One of our major priorities will be helping women transition from homelessness and emergency shelters to safe, stable, affordable housing. Our vision is to work alongside shelters, housing organizations, businesses, government agencies, and community partners to help women move toward lasting independence.

That support should not end when a woman receives the keys to an apartment. We envision programs that can help with housing preparation, security deposits and move-in assistance, household necessities, employment resources, budgeting, financial education, credit counseling and credit restoration, and other tools necessary to build long-term stability.

Women’s Health & Wellness

A phenomenal life also requires access to quality healthcare. We envision partnerships with qualified healthcare organizations and professionals that expand access to preventive women’s healthcare, including routine gynecological care, mammograms and breast-health education, health screenings, wellness education, and referrals to appropriate medical services.

Behavioral and emotional wellness will also be an important part of our mission. Women experiencing homelessness, domestic hardship, financial instability, grief, trauma, family challenges, or major life transitions should have opportunities to connect with licensed behavioral-health professionals and appropriate support services.

Financial Empowerment

Financial independence can change the trajectory of an entire family. Future initiatives will seek to provide women with access to financial literacy, budgeting education, credit counseling, credit improvement resources, homeownership preparation, entrepreneurship education, career development, and employment resources.

Our goal is not simply to help a woman survive a difficult season. We want to help provide the tools and partnerships that can position her to build, grow, lead, own, invest, and thrive.

Faith, Hope & Spiritual Support

For women who desire it, we also envision voluntary access to faith-based and spiritual counseling through qualified religious and community partners. This component will respect every woman’s personal beliefs and choices while ensuring that those seeking spiritual guidance, prayer, encouragement, or pastoral support have somewhere to turn.

Building a Movement

We envision I Am A Phenomenal Woman becoming a powerful network connecting accomplished women with women who are still fighting to find their way.
Imagine a successful executive mentoring a woman rebuilding her career. A physician educating women about preventive healthcare. A financial professional teaching credit management. A homeowner helping another woman prepare for homeownership. A female Veteran mentoring another Veteran transitioning to civilian life. A woman who once lived in a shelter returning years later—not as someone needing assistance, but as a mentor, donor, business owner, or community leader.

That is the cycle we want to create.

  • We will celebrate women on the stage, but our greatest measure of success will be what happens after the applause ends.
  • When a woman finds safe housing.
  • When she receives the healthcare she postponed because she could not afford it.
  • When she understands her credit for the first time.
  • When she secures employment.
  • When she purchases her first home.
  • When she starts a business.
  • When she discovers her voice.
  • When she turns around and helps another woman rise.
  • That is what it means to be phenomenal.

I AM A PHENOMENAL WOMAN

  • We Honor Her.
  • We Celebrate Her.
  • We Empower Her.
  • We Invest in Her Future.

Because when women are given the opportunity, resources, recognition, and support to succeed, they don’t just change their own lives—
they change families, communities, and generations.
